Wetland regeneration is a recent trend in conservation. In some areas, land previously used for farming is being converted into wetlands. Research wetlands, the types of organisms that live there, and examples of wetland restoration and regeneration. Then answer these questions: What factors do scientists need to consider before turning farmland into wetlands? How could wetland restoration affect humans who live in the area?
