What is meant by the term ‘wobble’ in molecular biology? To what property of the genetic code does it contribute? -Wobble is the ability of the nucleotide in the first position of the tRNA codon to pair with the nucleotide in the third position of the mRNA codon. Wobble contributes to degeneracy of the genetic code.

-Wobble is the ability of the nucleotide in the first position of the DNA codon to pair with the nucleotide in the third position of the mRNA codon. Wobble contributes to mutations in the genetic code code.

-Wobble describes mRNA that is not stabilized inside the ribosomal structure during translation. Wobble contributes to degeneracy in the genetic code.
OR
-Wobble is instability of DNA in the DNA polymerase during transcription. It results in regions of the new DNA that are not fully complimentary to the DNA template, and commonly contributes to mutations in the genetic code.
