Well certain regions have different amounts of everything and
Carrying capacity is the number of individuals of one species that an ecosystem can support So
1) water could increase it
2) food could increase it
3) the the sunlight could or could not increase it you would have to look this one up but I'm pretty sure it will so hope I helped you in any way

Are you asking about a street map usage  if so here is your answer  a street map for a very limited area could simply be a bit map or a .jpg image.  but a more general map would probably store the streets as vectors.  but you shouldn't assume that there is one way to do it
