HELP PLEASE IMPORTANT Cancer has been linked to oncogenes and tumor suppressing genes. Oncogenes cause the cells to go through the cell cycle regardless of circumstances. Tumor suppressing genes will become inactive due to a mutation. These genes are in charge of preventing the continuation of cell cycle due to the presence of damaged DNA. Using what you know of the cell cycle, which part of the cell cycle do these genes directly regulate and what specific step is misguided.
