THE PACIFIC RING OF FIRE Is an area around the pacific ocean with a lot of volcanic activity. magma is under the surface and lava is above the surface.

The Ring of Fire is home to 75% of the world's volcanoes and 90% of its earthquakes. This movement results in deep ocean trenches, volcanic eruptions, and earthquake epicenters along the boundaries where the plates meet, called fault lines.
