Herculaneum was an ancient town in Italy. Herculaneum has faced a lot of problems related to pollution that are contributed by humans.

During the eruption, the bones of hundreds of victims were left in the beach sites in the open air and the disintegration of dead bodies caused a lot of pollution in the area. Lead contamination is a common issue in Herculaneum that is creating  environmental health  hazards such as pollution. Plants and vegetation are rarely supported in Herculaneum people that increases the effects of pollution.

If i would have lived in Herculaneum, I would have felt suffocated in such an environment where there is a lot of pollution and I would try to plant some trees or vegetation nearby to support environmental health.
