In prokaryotes the process of transcription, translation, and mRNA degradation can all occur simultaneously without some of the proofreading functions present in eukaryotic transcription. As a result, transcription errors can be common in prokaryotes. remembering back to the table of codons and amino acids, how would you explain why it is not necessarily a problem for prokaryotes?
