Por qué en algunos países es de día mientras que en otros es de noche?

El sol es el cuerpo celeste que ilumina la Tierra, y este no puede iluminarla toda en un mismo tiempo. El sol ilumina una cara de la Tierra (día), mientras que la otra permanece oscura (noche), ya que esta se encuentra opuesta a los rayos el Sol.

Este fenómeno se debe el movimiento de rotación de la Tierra el cual dura todo un día (24 horas). Mientras la Tierra rota sobre su propio eje los rayos del Sol inciden sobre ella, mientras otras de sus zonas permanecen a oscuras.
