Ultraviolet (UV) is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength from 10 nm to 400 nm, Infrared radiation (IR), sometimes associated to simply as infrared, is a range of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum where wavelengths differ from about 700 nanometers (nm) to 1 millimeter (mm). These rays extend a person's risk of cataracts and several other eye problems, too. They can also crush the skin's immune system. Darker-skinned people are usually less likely to get skin cancer than light-skinned people, but they can still get cataracts and immune destruction.
