Difference between nucleus and atom

In an atom, protons and neutrons are bound together and this is the nucleus. Electrons revolve around the nucleus in random pattern. So basically, the nucleus is the center part of the atom that consists of only bound protons and neutrons, and an atom is the nucleus with electrons.
