why is cellular respiration in prokaryotes more efficient than in eukaryotes? if the electron transport chain, which is aerobic makes so much atp and prokaryotes mainly do anaerobic which is not the electron transport chain wouldnt it make more sense for it to be more efficient in eukaryotes?
