Old Macdonald had a farm. On his farm he grew some corn. He bought some new fertilizer from the local fertilizer. This fertilizer was supposed to make the corn stalks grow taller than unfertilized corn. Mr. Macdonald had never used fertilizer on his crops before. To test the new fertilizer, he grew half of his corn in soil that did not have any fertilizer and half of his corn in the new fertilized soil.
