Osmosis causes water to move toward the stronger concentration

Explanation:

In this system, there is a semipermeable membrane. Since the particles of solute (the black dots) are only on the left side, this means water can move across the membrane, but the solute can't. So, the water moves to dilute the stronger concentration because of osmosis (i.e. moving from high water concentration/low solute concentration to low water concentration/high solute concentration). The water would keep moving until the concentrations on both sides of the membrane are equal.

sheep is a herbivore animal whereas grasshopper belongs to the class chordates but both of them feed on greens.  

if grasshopper and sheep feeding on a pasture land, i do not think both of them will have any impact on each other. however, the number of the species can make difference. since sheep feed on greens, there is a possibility there left no pasture land for the grasshoppers or they may get extinct.
