Greenhouses are buildings that are made out of transparent (see-through) materials, such as glass. They are used to keep
plants at a comfortable temperature. They work by allowing
the heat of the sun in, and then trapping some of the heat
from escaping the building, keeping the temperature in the
greenhouse warm.
