Incontinentia pigmenti (IP) is a rare X-linked dominant genetic disorder that affects the skin, hair, teeth, nails and central nervous system. It is named for its appearance under a microscope. The dominant allele causes the disease. A typical man marries a woman that is heterozygous for the trait. Use a Punnett square and give the phenotypic ratio (IP to typical) of a possible son.
