PLEASE HELP ? Question
Next, you'll build a simulation based on what you think will happen because of natural selection.
Here are two considerations:
β€’ Some individuals with harmful characteristics can still successfully reproduce, but they have an
overall lower chance of doing so compared to organisms with neutral or beneficial traits.
β€’ Natural selection may affect distribution of traits. It's possible that harmful traits could eventually
disappear from the gene pool.
Don't worry about precise population numbers. Based on your understanding of natural selection, you'll
be modeling only one scientifically plausible trend that can occur. There are several correct variations of
this diagram. You'll explain the justification for your choices in part E.
Assume that these plants have a life expectancy of about one year, but the rate of reproduction keeps
their population consistently around 2,500 organisms. Using the same elements you used in part C, draw
simulations for year 5 and year 10. Clearly label each simulation.

Ascientist is investigating the effects of salinity on fish development. he places fertilized fish eggs in an aquarium that contains low salinity and observes their development. what factor would improve experimental design the most? place the fish eggs in the open ocean because that is the natural habitat include another aquarium that has normal salinity to compare to the low salinity aquarium include an aquarium that replaces salt with sugar to confirm that the effects are specific to salt grow algae with the fish eggs in order to provide adequate nutrients to the developing embryos

Which of the following is true about the introduction of a non-native species to an environment? (a) they usually adapt quickly so they can have a positive affect on the environment. (b) they can disrupt the environment and cause much damage and devastation to native species. (c) they usually become predators in a food chain and to keep prey populations under control. (d) because the native species are better-adapted to the environment, the non-native species always end up dying out.
