A population of Costa Rican red legged pond frogs was determined each year from 2006 to 2015. The frog population underwent logistic growth starting at 26,000 frogs in 2006 and stabilized at 58,000 between 2013 and 2015. Based on these data, the rmax for this population was determined to be 0.57. Costa Rica contains a variety of habitats, including rainforests and shrublands. Red legged pond frogs benefit from the resources in shrublands more than rainforests; if deforestation occurred, producing more shrublands in the region, the carrying capacity for pond frogs population would increase. What would the population size of pond frogs be one year after the carrying capacity increased to 80,000 as a result of deforestation
