What happens in a rain forest ecosystem when trees are cut down

Trees produce oxygen for the earth and clean the earth's air. so if you cut down the trees you would be increasing the chances for extinction for the animals that live in that habitat

It will effect the life there. It wood effect the air, the animals would have no shelter, it would effect the undergrowth which would effect the animals by not having food, no hiding spots so predictors can hunt prey, it may effect how hot, and dry it is by making it even worse.
