Cooking. Although cooking can destroy the bacteria, the toxin produced is heat stable and may not be destroyed. Staphylococcus aureus is known to produce toxins that are heat-stable. Certain bacteria like Clostridium and Bacillus spp exist as spore and are heat resistant thus making them survive cooking temperature.
