Which do you think is more important for child development: nature or nurture? why?

"nurture   is generally taken as the influence of external factors after conception e.g. the product of exposure, experience and learning on an individual. the  nature-nurture   debate is concerned with the relative contribution that both influences make to human behavior."~not my on work or knowledge. 

Personally, i believe both nature and nurture have an large influence over the people we become in later life and it could be said that they are on a balance, although i believe it would depend between people, as every situation and individual are different. we have the ability to control and change our own behaviour at any point in our lives, therefore it is difficult to argue that either nuture or nature has the largest influence.
