Which of these reproductive hormones plays a role in the production of both female and male gametes?

The reproductive cycle both in men and women is controlled by hormones. Estrogens are the female sex hormones and androgens are considered as mail sex hormones. However, men and women make hormones in both groups. Depending on the gender the ratio is different.
