All the drugs mentioned above are examples of TERATOGENS. Teratogens are substances which cause malformation of embryos, they cause birth defects in babies. There are different types of teratogens, these include: drugs, chemicals, radiations, maternal infection, etc. These substances act in diverse ways, they can abort pregnancy right away or cause the baby to be abnormally formed.  

Mitochondria is the cell organelle that produced the energy that is needed in the body system in form of atp, that is why it is called the power house of the cell. energy is needed by the living organisms to carry out the activities which sustain life.  if the mitochondria is destroyed atp will not be produced. if the mitochondria is destroyed, energy production will stop and the affected living organism will not have the energy to carry out the necessary life processes; this will lead to the death of the organism.

Plants take energy from the sunlight with the of chlorophyll so the plant starts the food chain. then an herbivore eats the plant and gets its energy.then a carnivore or a human eats the herbivore and gets its energy. : )
