The composition of bolide is still unknown, whether it is an asteroid comprised of only rocks or is a metallic asteroid, but it has the capacity to form big craters due to an impact.

These are comparatively smaller asteroids. Every year about 5,000 bolides fall on earth but are not visible because during the day time it is not so visible due to the sunlight.
