Aaron Antonovsky suggested that human health is not just about body and soul and the immediate living environment. He stated that both the structure of the society of which we are a part of and the extent of our success in living our lives in that society can have a crucial role in a person's well-being. He also stated the importance of looking at human beings in their particular situations and of bearing in mind that health consists of several dimensions. He conducted further research on the basis of the connection between stress and ill-health.He later used the Salutogenic model and the health continuum to further his study.
