1.Carbohydrates are used for energy (glucose). Fats are used for energy after they are broken into fatty acids. Protein can also be used for energy, but the first job is to help with making hormones, muscle, and other proteins. Broken down into glucose, used to supply energy to cells.2.Nucleic acids: Stores and transfers info. Carbohydrates; Store energy, provide fuel, and build structure in body, main source of energy, structure of plant cell wall. Lipid: Insulator and stores fat and energy. Protein: Provide structural support,transport, enzymes, movement, defense.
