What to Do:

1. For set up A, get a piece of rock and wrap it in a piece of cloth. Pound it using a hammer.

Be careful in using a hammer.

2. For Setup B, get another piece of rock and pour vinegar on it. Observe what will happen.

3. Compare the changes that happen to the pieces of chalk or rocks.

4. Answer the questions below.
