The growth of suburban population is also called URBANISATION. This is defined as the rapid growth of an urban area which occurred due to the movement of individuals from rural areas into the urban area. There are different reasons why individuals migrate to urban areas these include:

Introduction of invasive species:

It is very common to use ornamental vegetable species, proceeding from other areas or countries to arrange the gardens, streets, and parks. These species might become invasive and uncontrollable, causing severe damage in native endemic species by competing for resources. The whole ecosystem structure changes.
