What the town looked like when the Once-ler first arrived in his wagon were tall, striped trees with soft, brightly colored tufts with fruit called Truffula Trees. Barbaloots which were bears that live among the trees and eat Truffula fruits, Humming fish that hummed and lived in a pond and songbirds that were called Swamee Swans. And he referred this place as “glorious.”
