What would happen to life if there were no bacteria involved in biogeochemical cycles? A. There would be no difference since decomposition is an abiotic factor and cycling of nutrients would still occur.
B. The energy and nutrients required for life would be stuck and could not be cycled, thus life would cease.
C. There is no need for bacteria since they do not play any role in biogeochemical cycles, just plants and animals..
D. No one would know.
