The bacteria to cellulose ratio in the feed is 0.5x102. The rate of cellulose digestion by the bacteria is 1.4x105 kg. day. while the rate of bacterial growth is 4x104 kg. day 1. The rate of cell death by lysis is 60x102 kg. day -1 a) Draw and label the process flow diagram (5) b) Write balances for each component. (10) c) If the cellulose accumulation is 4x104 kg each day find the cellulose and bacteria flow rates in the feed as well as the bacteria accumulation in the system. (10)
