Ahormone imbalance may cause a man to develop certain female secondary sex characteristics. gynecomastia is a condition in men where their breasts swell and become abnormally large. a low level of which hormone would cause this condition?

A low level of testosterone hormone in males would cause condition of gynecomestia. Gynecomestia is a condition in which males develop female like breast. This is an endocrine system disorder. Testosterone is a hormone which induces masculine development in males like development of male sex hormones, increasing muscles and bone mass. Estrogen is a hormone which chiefly develop feminine characteristics like breast development, development of female sex organs. Generally, the levels of estrogen production is higher in females and less in males. But, decline in testosterone levels and increase in estrogen levels leads to subcutaneous deposition of fatty tissue in male breasts.
