Acupressure is considered as the acupuncture in the absence of the needles. In this the use of fingertips, that is, the manual pressure is done on the particular points of the body. Acupressure is generally used to relieve the symptoms of headache, motion sickness, menstrual cramps, muscle pain and tension, vomiting, nausea, and others. In case of pain, the acupressure substitutes the sensory stimuli in place of pain-generating stimuli.
