What happens to the tempeture as you travel from the surface of the earth to the center

I believe the temperature increases as you move closer to the center.

Temperature varies,
Its usually 9,000 - 13,000 degrees Fahrenheit 
5,000 -7,000 degrees Celsius

If you start from the surface, it'll be cold at first, then begin to get hotter.
