Sexual reproduction allows for organisms to genetically adapt, and for the better survival of the species

For example, 2 cats live in a snowy region, some cats are black, and some are white.

The cats will only want to reproduce with white cats because white cats are better at camouflage

Eventually, ALL of the cats are white, and the species better survive
