Trees absor huge amounts of CO2 emissions from fossil fuels and contribute to water vapor exchange. 2) Water scarcity: trees help to conserve humidity (keeping lower temperatures) and to the retention of water in the soils, when trees dissapear the sources of water decrease; 3) soill erotion: the roots of the trees help to keep the soil firm, and 4) species extinction: trees are houses four thousands of animals and organisms, with less trees and less water some species get lost.
