Recombinant DNA

Explanation:

The process by which the gene from one organism is incorporated into the gene of another organism to produce the desired character, is called as recombinant DNA technology.

This process is used to produce the desired product in huge amount by the help of the host cell.

The fragment of one DNA of an organism is joined to the fragment of DNA of bacterial cell so that when the bacterial DNA replicates the desired DNA inside the host cell also gets replicated within it. The products produced are in huge amounts in very less time.

for  example, forests have higher evapotranspiration than other ecosystems,  such  as grasslands, because of their deeper roots and greater leaf area. thus forests have a net moistening effect on the atmosphere and become a moisture source for downwind ecosystems.
