    Seminiferous tubules, also called seminiferous tubes, are located in the testicles, and each testicular lobe is composed of one to four of these tubules that are lodged as skeins within a loose connective tissue rich in blood and lymphatic vessels.

   It is in the seminiferous tubules that sperm production occurs. Each testis has 250 to 1000 tubules measuring approximately 150 to 250 µm in diameter and 30-70 centimeters in length each, with the combined length of the tubules of a testicle approximately 250 meters.
