Which attribute disqualifies the object from being a planet?

It must be an object which independently orbits the Sun (this means moons can't be considered planets, since they orbit planets)

It must have enough mass that its own gravity pulls it into a roughly spheroidal shape

It must be large enough to "dominate" its orbit (i.e. its mass must be much larger than anything else which crosses its orbit)

the level of progesterone is low at the pre-ovulatory phase of the cycle but it gradually increases and the levels are high at the luteal phase. if pregnancy occurs, the level of progesterone will be high throughout the pregnancy.

if egg is fertilized and the mother gets pregnant, progesterone starts preparing the uterus for the implantation. it starts building up the lining of uterus and make it hostile of the period of pregnancy.
