Peripheral blood smear is knwon to be a basic and informative tool used by the clinicians for diagnosis, screening and monitoring of diseases therapeutic response and progression.  Parasite detected or identified during microscopic examination of peripheral blood smear stained with Giemsa or other stains could be Palsmodium, Trypanosoma and Babesia
