How does biotechnology use viruses or bacteria?

I believe this is supposed to be a trick question because a bio technology company can use both, they can experiment on vaccines to prevent viruses as well as produce/manufacture antibodies to treat bacterial infections

It help scientists discover a new way to genetically modify cells in just about any organism I hope this helps
