Based on the genotypic and phenotypic frequencies of trichomes over the next 50 generations, a large population of trichomes would adapt to the strong sunlight with increase of trichomes phenotypic production. 

In addition, trichomes will developed a function of being able to reduce water loss and reflect radiation to prevent the plant from being affected by these extreme heat conditions.
