When meditation is done properly, brain waves change to include more waves?

When meditation is done properly, brain waves change to include more theta waves.
Theta waves are more active when the thinking mind transitions to the meditative mind. Theta waves represent a deeper state of awareness with stronger intuition. During meditation, those waves are the most abundant in the frontal and middle parts of the brain.
