The 7 Ps within the marketing mix are as follows;

1. Product

3. Promotion

5. Packaging

6. Positioning

7. People

Explanation:

In order to maximize on the sales and in turn the profits of a product, certain aspects of marketing can be considered. This aspects can be defined as the 7 Ps. They are as follows;

1. Product; the product that is being sold has to be assessed critically in terms of its quality and market trends. For example; on needs to determine if the product they are selling at that given time can be replaced by another product that is doing better in the market.

2. Prices; a price assessment also needs to be undertaken in order to determine the appropriate price that will ensure maximum sales while at the same time maintaining reasonable profits

3. Promotion; this entails all the way you market and inform your customers about your product then in turn sell  to them. Strategies adopted in promotion can improve your sales remarkably.

4. Place; the location where the product is sold also goes a long way in the sales. A location that is safe and easily accessible to most customers will reflect in the sales.

5. Packaging; how the package looks can be very important in how much the product sales. The package should be visually appealing to most of the customers.

6. Positioning; one needs to know how the customers view that particular product in relation to other products that serve the same purpose. This helps in product review.

7. People; the people in this case includes both the customers and the employees. The employees should be skilled and competent in their area of expertise since they all contribute to the production and sale of the product. The product should ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring that the product is quality and that the potential customers access the product easily and at a fair price.
