In a baseball league, the worst-performing teams get the opportunity to select the best third basemen coming out of college during the draft. A journal collected data for all 327327 third basemen drafted in the past 40 years as part of a study. Several variables were measured for each third baseman, including draft position left parenthesis top 10, between 11 - 50, after 50 right (draft position (top 10, between 11-50, after 50), college attended, and production score (higher scores indicate more productive third basemans).
