Using your knowledge of how leaders connect with others, create an original team-building activity that facilitates effective group communication for the group described below: Cindy popular, likes to be the center of attention, knows everything
Helena popular, viewed as a follower
Andy confident, well respected
Jada timid
Tim quiet, well respected by peers
Cindy, Helena, Andy, Jada and Tim are in the same history class. Jada is a new student. Cindy is the most vocal and sole decision maker in her group of friends which includes Helena. Tim befriends Jada which angers Cindy. Cindy likes to do things her way. Tim is quiet and does not talk much and tries hard to follow school rules. Cindy begins to spread rumors about Tim and Jada and treats them horribly. Jada wants to fit in at her new school and begins to distance herself from Tim.

Now that you know more about the group who needs help with relationship-building, design your activity and put it on the Module Five Lesson Two Assignment (Links to an external site.) template In Part 1 of the template, you will analyze the group and identify which relationship type(s) match which group member. In Part II, you will create your team-building activity.

Your activity must meet the following requirements:

At least 2 SMART or CLEAR learning goals that address what skills and/or knowledge the group will learn by completing the activity
3-7 guidelines that explain how to complete the activity; include clear steps as well as any materials needed
3-7 rules that all group members should follow in order for the activity to run smoothly
At least 3 debriefing questions for after the activity that help the team discuss and review what happened during the activity
In Part III, write a well-developed paragraph explaining your activity. Be sure your paragraph includes the following:

an explanation for how your activity will help the group of history students' specific relationship types
an explanation of how your activity relates to the Lesson 2 content
an explanation of how team-building relates to leadership development
