Why do we need to file/complete taxes? (we know taxes are taken out of each paycheck: federal income, state income, local income, social security, medicare, etc.). Please explain why we need to file federal, state, and local income taxes. 2. Explain the relationship between forms W-2, W-4, and 1040. Explain where/when we get these forms.

3. Do you think it is "fair" that everyone must pay taxes to the Federal, State, and Local government? Why or why not? Justify your answer.
