Strategic management is most often viewed as the hard science of organizational management. Through Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threat (SWOT) analysis, leaders formulate the direction of the organization. However, successful execution of the strategic direction is dependent upon the soft sciences. Evaluate the qualities that are required of leaders to affect willingness on the part of employees to support strategy implementation efforts. Appraise three of these qualities and expound upon them with examples of how a leader might further develop these qualities.
