What is an example of a work stereotype that you know of? why should you be careful of work stereotypes?

Stereotyping is making general assumptions and judgments about an individual with little or no personal knowledge about them.

Stereotypes are commonly based upon sex, race, ethnicity, physical appearance, profession. Example of work stereotype is the stereotype based on gender according which men are strong and do all the work. , while women aren't as smart as a man. and  can't do as good of a job as a man. You should be careful of work stereotypes because you could lose motivation to find a job or work.
