We live in a society where it is common to receive goods from across the globe in trade. Our daily lives and workforce are interconnected more than ever, due to the surge popularity of the internet. A diverse workforce is another component of this surge, as now that the world is interconnected, all manner of people from all across the globe are available to do a lot of tasks that used to be done by a small subgroup of people. Finally, taking risks is an important fact of today's world as well. Corporations are focused on shareholder dividends and profit above short-term risk. Risk is needed in today's society to enable us to move forward as a society and make new discoveries.
