I believe it's alright to set long-term goals. When you finally know what you want to be in life you figure out your dream job and it's something you really want to do. Sometimes you feel there is just something you want to do but, you don't know how to get there. Why is this so important? To set a long-term goal on your job you have to prepare. Say you want to be a doctor or a chemist or heart surgeon the only way you're going to get there is if you don't give up and you have the mindset and mentality in your head that that's what you're going to do. That's who you're going to be when you've set your mind on that goal because the choices you make will affect that goal. So, having it in mind will make you think before you do figure it out so you can succeed.
